Redefining perfectly good words
In the political language of today, people who want to keep what they have earned are said to be "greedy," while those who wish to take their earnings from them and give it to others (who will vote for them in return) show "compassion."

Look at these beautiful dolls. Morgan Jo, Isaiah Robert, Amelia Margaret. Our quiver is full. Blessed be the LORD.
Children are a heritage from the Lord,
offspring a reward from him.
4 Like arrows in the hands of a warrior
are children born in one’s youth.
5 Blessed is the man
whose quiver is full of them.

Think about it
"If socialism was so popular, it wouldn't have to be imposed and maintained at the point of a gun all over the world. If socialism was so popular, it wouldn't require dictatorship to enforce it." Maha RushiE

Inspiring
The smallest gesture can inspire and invigorate. Today the gesture came from my cherished friend 4-states away.
A moment ago, I heard someone graveling around out front. What is the mailman doing in my driveway instead of across the street at the mailbox? Sure as Christmas, there was a small parcel on the porch. Excitedly, I perused the address thinking it could be something for my dearly departed renters. But no, Care MacMurchy. Well now, only CheriO would send me something that was addressed to "Care."
Uncommon Goods. Hmmmmm. Something green. Yes indeed, a parcel from my Cheri O.
A glass nightlight!
The three things I love: The artists - Vawn & Mike Gray - call it REBORN GLASS. What's not to love about that theme, for cryin' out loud! Isn't Rebirth the theme of all our lives?
Second, my heart has ached - dare we say, yearned - for the perfect nightlight. Hyperbolic, admittedly, but nonetheless, the "Life is good" light in the guest bathroom has been lacking. At the risk of sounding like a looney-tune, I have mused out loud how at some point I'd find the just-right nightlight. Today it came to my very own doorstep. In my brief experience, always, always the smallest longing is answered in due season. This unexpected delight is yet another instance of "Every heart's desire met."
Finally, CheriO, you are the Bomb! Thank you for throwing me off my game today. Love the surprise prizes.
