John Van Duzen was one of Robert's best friends back in the Colorado days of leading worship. John was a fellow youth pastor from Sterling, CO. This is a shirt from one summer when John, Robert, and Nathan - our wonderful drummer - led worship at Camp Wondervu's Junior High Camp. John said, "A week of joy with Robert and Nathan, that's what it was for me."
Oh how I'd love to hear from all the folks Robert played with through the years, winding their way to the Father's Throne. I bet there's a whole new bunch of folks Robert's strumming and singing with. A thousand notes of praise.

I remember those shirts...did they ever take them off the whole week they were there? I can see Robert in his shirt with a little tuft of hair from his chest sticking out the top, sweating away as he just strummed away up on that dusty stage leading us to the throne. I know my Pearl is with him singing even now...can't wait to join in all together. In the mean time we will keep singing our hearts out here. Thanks for another great memory! I love you- LJ
We had several shirts each so it just looked like we never changed. Your dusty stage comment reminded me of one of my favorite things that week. Toward the end of the week the weather turned rainy so for exercise we had a skating party in our socks. Everyone was gliding around pretending to have wheels. We had a limbo contest and a barrel jumping contest too! The BH band provided the tunes. What fun.
