Dale Chihuly's glass came to my alma mater Pepperdine University

"Chihuly Glass come out with your hands up!"

I've been searching for hours on the net trying to locate where to find some of this upspeakably beautiful glass work in San Francisco. I'll be out there in a week and Cheri0 and I are going to the museums one day. There is a restaurant - Rubican - which has a small exhibit. We might have to settle for that as well as Van Gogh at the Fine Arts Museums.

Mercy - what a wonder... And Danielle and I have tickets to the San Francisco Ballet! Goodnight!!

But come to find out in my search for Chihuly's glasswork, my own college - Pepperdine - had an exhibit in '04. I can't believe it! How could I have missed it?

When I saw the first photos you posted last night, I wondered, too, where they are displayed. How beautiful! I'm glad you get to enjoy some of it in CA. I'm glad we both get to be with our "kids" over spring break.

Care,

I sent my older sister, Karen, to your blog to see the March 2 picture and entry. She makes glass beads and fires them in her basement near Boston. She’s already a fan and sent me the following paragraph:

I LOVE Dale Chihuly's glass work. It's just mind boggling. He's really the
daddy of the American art glass movement. I would love to see the art glass
museum in Tacoma, WA (where he lives). He also has a gorgeous website,
chihuly.com. Check out the Bridge of Glass, the baskets, the seaforms.
Amazing.
