Gladly presenting the 2008 graduates ~ Congratulations to Joy Kathryn MacMurchy Navratil on the successful completion of a social work degree from MSUM, Moorhead, MN. Also Morgan Jo Klein moves on to kindergarten after bringing the house down at Rainbow Preschool. I can't imagine how much they will miss Morgan's lightbulb personality. Thanx to mama Elissa for investing in the fine shaping of the next generation.
Joy spoke often of being a missionary when she was a child. And so she is. Wherever Joy invests her time, talent and tender heart, she will be doing God's work for His glory and the delight of all who encounter her. JoyFul, MeritCare is lucky to have you caring for hospital patients and families.
I'm racking my brain trying to think how to tie in the Taekwondo pic. It's the best I had since Joy didn't march at graduation, but she will kick buns in the marketplace?! No, that doesn't really dovetail with bringing the Good News. Ah, maybe she'll be a missionary in Korea someday and ready for any attacks. That's a stretch but we'll go with it.

Who'da thought just four years ago we were shocked after Katy died her hair black in celebration of her high school graduation. And mom has repeatedly uttered since ... "It's just a phase."
I think the black is here to stay, Care!
Anywho, congrats Kates (Morgan Jo too)!!!!!
The best about that story, Dani0, is that KJ called from Annabelle's a few days before hs graduation and said, "Mom I have something to ask you. (increased heartrate for the mom) Would you care if I dyed my hair black for graduation?" Well I wasn't tickled cause to me it looked 'died' like you unwittingly spelled it. But after raptly listening to my plea, she sweetly said something like, "Thank you, Mother. I'll take it under advisement." (my loose paraphrase) She came home with 'died' black hair. And now I've grown accustomed and might even have edged over to "it's JoyFul, so I like it." fun memories
Since Katy J - aka Joyful - was sporting the black doo at her wedding looking like a stunning Persian Princess, I guess it's safe to say "It's here for the count...or Countess."
Oftimes you make me laugh outloud Danielle Beth. I love your humor. You must have gotten your Dad's funny gene?! Please don't move to Australia; I'll miss your several times a week phone calls. GoodGrief
