We missed Daron like crazy but they provided the beyond-scrumptious vino: Seghesio Old Vine Zinfandel 2007. I am very thankful that Gabriel and Elissa brought Morgan and Isaiah to meet Noy over Labor Day. We celebrated the big Bday then and last night we were still ringing in the next decade of my joyous life.

It was funny... Kates text me that photo, and I could not figure out whether those bright streaks were candles or some remanence of a UFO. Then, Aaron pointed out to me "No, it's Care's cycling jacket." Of course, I thought... you can never be too safe during a birthday dinner with friends and vino. Course, the yellow vest would've been the safest choice.
