Where is this? Is this the new revamped MacMurchy house?! Not bad.

No you silly goose, it's Lied Lodge and Conference Center in fun-filled Nebraska City, Neb, where Dad and I met Grandma Marge and Grandpa Gil back in the day. It's only an hour from Lincoln. The lodge is a tribute to J. Sterling Morton who started Arbor Day ~ the celebration of tree planting. A grassroots homegrown organic Conservationalist, Mr. Morton was. His family lived in an old mansion right on the property where the lodge is. Terrific!

Aunt Sue and I spent a couple of days at the Lodge before school started with the highlight being riding our bikes over the bridge and all around the beautiful property. Homemade apple pie is one of the highlights around the trail. We had a blast as you can imagine! The place is second only to SpearFish Canyon Lodge.
FYI ~ Molly MacMoffatt was engaged on this very same spot. YattaBoy Steve!!!

That is where I want to wed my beautiful bride, Elissa. Can't you just see our little girl, Morgan, spreading rose pedals down that runway? How do I book that joint for us?
